This is Joe :) Everyone here knows how much I love pizza, and even more than eating it, I love making it for people. My love of food was passed onto me by my father, who was always in the kitchen when I was growing up.
Augustine's Pizza Club was born long before 2025. The year was 2006…Wielding a No.2 Pencil in my parents' kitchen, I scrawled with grave seriousness onto an index card the words "Chef Giuseppe...make dough into a circle, add sauce, apply cheese.” At the top I wrote "RECIPE," as if carving into stone meant to last generations. I guess you could say Augustine's Pizza Club was planted then. And is coming into season now.
I am in the process of launching this spring. Augustine’s Pizza Club will be slinging pies weekly at Carr’s Ciderhouse, one of the most vibrant spots in the Pioneer Valley. I need your help getting over the finish line. There are many hurdles and costs that we must overcome before we can legally sling some ferocious pies. Your contribution will help cover the following:
-Permits, Licensing, and Fees (Fire Permits, Town Permits, Commissary Permits, LLC Formation, Insurance, Common Victualler License, Health Permits, Additional Certifications)
-Essential Startup Equipment (UL listed ovens, NSF compliant mobile kitchen gear)
-Commissary Kitchen Costs
-Mobile Food Setup (handwashing station, mobile refrigeration, prep tables)
