Support Spear’s Launch of a New Leather Brand

I’m finally starting my leather brand! After five years of working in leather shops, studying fashion design and merchandising, and sharpening my skills, I’m ready to bring my own vision to life.

I’ve always loved the kink, leather, and fetish community, and putting that energy into creative projects feels exciting and grounding. I’m starting with belts and plan to expand into keychains, wallets, and cuffs.

I’ve picked up tools over the years, but most were lost in various moves—so I’m building back from the basics. Right now, I’m starting out only with the sewing supplies I bought for my classes at CCSF, so I’m aiming to raise about $600 to get the gear I need to really get started.

You can also help me reach my fundraising goal by PREORDERING a custom size belt from me! It’ll be the kind where you can change out the belt buckle if you want. If you preorder before I make my big purchase, you can choose the width of your strap and the color of your hardware too. Custom belts are $60 if we can arrange a pickup/drop-off in the Leather Cultural District (SoMA West), or add $10 for shipping anywhere within the USA. If I receive 10 preorders, I’ll have covered my costs for the tool & supply purchase. I’m excited to have received 5/10 preorders so far, and I have added any offline funds received to the gofundme to update my fundraising total accordingly.

If anyone is able to help with secondhand/extra tools/supplies instead of money, that would be equally awesome and helpful for me!! I love hand-me-downs. You could mail them to me (I can probably pay for shipping) or I could pick them up from you in SF. Here’s what I need most urgently:

The amount I’ve requested here is enough to start me off with the materials and tools I need to make belts. Any excess funds raised will be used to purchase other types of leather so that I can start experimenting with making keychains and wallets.
