Help support the Larson family after Bryn's tumor diagnosis
Donation protected
If you know Bryn Larson, you LOVE Bryn Larson. There is no alternative. She is kind, loving, inclusive, smart, funny, creative, and just as beautiful outside as she is inside. She and Max have been inseparable since they were 3, all the boys think of her as their sister, and John and I love her like she’s our own daughter. A few weeks ago, Bryn was diagnosed with a tumor that has grown from her sinus towards her brain. At just 15 years old, she is facing major surgery at the UW Madison Children’s Hospital to remove the tumor while not knowing what the next steps will be for recovery. Much depends on the results of how well the surgery goes and biopsying the tumor. In true Bryn fashion, she has faced this situation with courage and positivity, but we want to make sure she and her family do not have to face this alone.
Many of you already know what a challenging past 5 years the Larsons have endured. They have spent the better part of those years traveling to support Mara, and recently Bryn, as they receive acute and residential care for eating disorders. The cost for these treatments has been partially covered by insurance, but the expense of frequent traveling to and from care facilities and hotel stays is substantial and completely out of pocket, let alone the time commitments to pursue this care for their wonderful daughters. Their whole family has been through so much; we can’t imagine how challenging Bryn’s diagnosis has been for them. Please help us support the Larsons as they continue to provide the best care possible for Bryn and Mara. Given the uncertainty of what comes next, I think the best way to help right now is to consider donating in support of this wonderful family—and especially our amazing Bryn—as she navigates surgery and recovery. Please share this message with others who may want to help. Your support means the world to us and I know it will to the Larsons as well. All donations will go directly to the Larson family.
