Losing Ryan Paul Largay and Bryan Scott Lassman left an unfillable void, but in their memory, we are committed to bringing hope, support, and resources to those battling addiction and mental health challenges.

We each established funds to honor Ryan and Bryan, creating opportunities for others to receive the education, resources, and financial support needed to navigate the difficult journey of addiction and mental health treatment.

Today, we unite these efforts with the launch of the Largay & Lassman Sunshine Fund. By joining forces, we aim to expand awareness and increase funding for the two initiatives we’ve built in their names. Every dollar raised will be evenly distributed between these two impactful funds, ensuring that more individuals receive the help they need.

The Ryan Paul Largay Sunshine Fund

This scholarship fund provides financial assistance to alumni or members of Connecticut’s Saint Mary’s Hospital School of Nursing who are continuing their education toward a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Nursing. The fund prioritizes those focusing on mental health and addiction, helping to foster the next generation of compassionate caregivers.

The Bryan Scott Lassman Sunshine Fund

Dedicated to breaking down financial barriers, this charitable organization offers assistance to individuals seeking mental health counseling and addiction treatment, especially those who cannot afford it. In addition, the fund provides scholarships to high school seniors pursuing careers in the mental health field, honoring Bryan’s memory by supporting future professionals dedicated to making a difference.
