Support the Landelius Family After Devastating Fire

On Friday, May 9th, just days after celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary, Alvin and Julie Landelius lost their home in a massive house fire. Not only did they lose their home, they lost everything they’ve ever worked for. Thankfully, Alvin, Julie, and their son Travis were uninjured, but their house was a total loss. Unfortunately, their two beloved Chihuahuas did not survive.

This is such a hardworking family. They are wholesome people, the kind anyone would be glad to know. They’re the wave-at-everyone-on-the-dirt-road, give-you-the-shirt-off-their-back, always-giving-but-never-taking kinds of people. They’ve never had their hands out for anything, and I know despite the severity of the situation, they would not ask for help even today.

They’ll have support from family without a doubt, but I’m sure they would appreciate support from the community. Nobody expects to wake up in bed one morning and lose that same bed by nightfall, along with everything else but the clothes on their backs.

I’m gathering information on needs that aren’t monetary, but on behalf of the family, I’m starting here. We understand that times are hard, so if anything, they’d appreciate thoughts and prayers as well.
