Today(January 20th) at 10:50 in the morning, a fire broke out in our apartment complex at 642 Kirkland Drive, Sunnyvale. Within minutes, our apartment was completely on fire. We are a family of 8, and everything we owned is gone. Clothes, furniture, school items, personal belongings, important documents, and the memories we built in that home — all of it burned.
The hardest part is seeing the place we called home turn into ashes. We are incredibly thankful that no one was injured, but that doesn’t make this any easier. Right now, we have nothing. No home, no clothes, no basic necessities. We don’t even know where to begin.
At the moment, we are staying with a relative, but this is only temporary. My parents, Frank Lampkin and Nicole Lampkin, have always worked hard to provide for our family, and now they are facing the unimaginable — starting over from nothing.
We are asking for help during the most difficult moment of our lives. Any donation, no matter how small, will help us get clothes, food, and a place to stay while we figure out our next steps. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this. Even that means more than you know.
“I’m sharing this with a heavy heart, but we truly need help.“
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for any support, prayers, or kindness you can offer. We will never forget it.
