The Lampitelli family is facing an unimaginable heartbreak as their beloved father and Husband Michael, has passed away due to terminal illness. Michael has been a cherished member of the Long Island diner community for decades, a proud supporter of the Suffolk County Police Department, a dedicated donor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and above all, a loving husband to Corinne and devoted father to Brandon and Serena, along with many other close family members who adore him. Just last month, Michael found the strength to walk his daughter down the aisle and give her away at her wedding—a moment of pure joy before his unforeseen and rapid decline shortly after returning home to South Carolina. Donations will help the family cover essential needs such as food, utilities, transportation, and the significant travel expenses required to bring Michael home to New York so he can be laid to rest among his family. During what is normally the most magical time of year—a season spent with family, friends, and festive traditions—any contribution, no matter the amount, will help lighten the weight of this incredibly heavy time.
