Support the Lamoreux Family in this time of grief

Over the past 49 years, Tracey Lamoreux, has been one of the most incredible women to ever come across anyone's life. She has accepted everyone and always made sure they were loved and taken care of no matter what. But these simple things aren't what made her a one of a kind, kind of person.

Ever since I met Tracey, I knew she was going to make a huge impact on my life alone. She had taken me in right after high school in 2016, not really knowing who I was other than the guy that her daughter, Samantha, was dating. But that didn't stop her from giving her unconditional love towards me and to my family. I quickly realized that not only was she accepting of me, but she accepted me into their loving family and immediately called me her son. She always made me feel like I was one of hers and from that point forward, I knew that this family was meant for me.

Her love and her passion always drove me to be a better man and from that point on I always stayed true to myself because of her. She had shown me how to be a great son, a great brother in law, and eventually a great husband. I will never forget when I had asked Tracey and Tom for their permission to marry their one and only daughter. I was in basic training and it was over letters. I waited and waited to hear a response and finally it happened. Couldn't read her fancy cursive handwriting but there was one thing I could read and it was very clear that they would love for me to be a part of this amazing family, officially.

One thing that I know I will never forget is seeing how excited she was that she was about to become a grandmother to our wonderful little boy, Carlisle. The calls, the texts just simply asking to see him and to see how he's been doing and seeing her face light up whenever Carlisle came onto the screen. Carlisle always loved seeing his Mema. His face lighting up hearing her talk and her always saying how handsome he is.

One month before his first birthday, tragedy had hit our family harder than anyone can imagine. What first started as a potential lung infection turned worse as the news just came pouring in. Devastated with every bit of information coming in, all we could do is remain strong and positive, praying that someone could give us answers to everything happening. All within ONE month, we had watched this loving, caring, and wholehearted person pass away right in front of us. Stage 4 cancer that could not be contained and eventually took over her body.

As the events were happening, the Lamoreux's, were in desperate need of help and every action they were taking wasn't working. Tom makes his living doing something he loves doing which is driving all over South Carolina. Aidan had dedicated a good amount of his paychecks in order to help with bills and Patrick still being in high school can't help as he is focusing on his educational goal. My family needs help... the hospital bills, the mortgage, and any other big expenses that they can't stay on top of. Thank you for any contribution or condolences towards my family.

We love and miss you so much already. We already know you will be looking down on us every day making sure we aren't doing anything stupid like keeping dirty dishes in the sink or refusing to get out of bed in the morning for school.

Rest in Peace Tracey, You are forever loved by your family and friends.
