Please help the Kuprych family to stay safe! I have been sponsoring this beautiful family of Ukrainian refugees for the past year and a half. They need to renew their refugee status in 2026, but unfortunately the fees required by the United States government have recently been greatly increased, and they are not able to save enough money in time to pay them. They will need approximately $10,000 to pay for their family's applications, work permits, and their other needs required to stay safe here in the United States. Please help us to help them! Slavik and Anya Kuprych were first uprooted by the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2014. They moved to Kyiv in hopes of finding stable work and a more secure location, but when Russia invaded again in 2022, their area became subjected to constant bombings. Their children were unable to attend school regularly, their basic services such as electricity became frequently unavailable, and they were subjected to extreme conditions, an unsafe food supply, and immense fear. This family has suffered so much from the war, and they have nothing to go back to. Since their arrival in the summer of 2024, the Kuprychs have done everything they can to rebuild their lives. They are extremely hard-working! Slavik works at a local repair business and is skilled in fixing appliances, and Anya is a talented baker. They have been studying very hard to learn English, and their children are adjusting well in school. They are traveling a very difficult road to put the trauma of the war behind them. The Kuprychs have become family to us, and we are honored to be a part of their recovery journey.
