Support the Kruckows in Their Time of Need

Please Help! A close member of our Community and the Horseheads Babe Ruth family suffered a terrible Personal Property loss on Saturday 10/26/24. Dave and Karen Kruckow’s home caught fire. Thankfully all People and Pets are ok and were not physically harmed. However, Dave and Karen’s Home is currently Unlivable due to smoke, fire, and extensive water damage. As Dave and Karen do their best to deal with this crippling loss and try to pick up the pieces of their lives, it would be amazing if Our Community, including their Horseheads Babe Ruth family and friends could show them how much we care by generating some Monetary Help. It will be some time before the Kruckow’s home is livable again. Unfortunately it looks like they will be without their home through the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holiday. The primary goal of this GoFundMe is to raise $4,000 that Dave and Karen can use for housing over the next 2 months. I’m certain you are all aware of the Kruckow’s presence within our league and community. Dave and Karen and their 2 children are HHHS graduates. Dave is the Horseheads Babe Ruth Vice President and BR Commissioner while Karen holds the position of Horseheads Babe Ruth Treasurer and Concession Stand Coordinator. Without them the youth in our community would have nowhere to play the game they love. This kind, caring and compassionate couple has literally dedicated the past decade of their lives to the Horseheads Babe Ruth League. Now you can Help Them. They have donated countless hours and energy to the youth in our community. If your children have played in the league over the past 10 years, Dave and Karen has helped make that possible. If you have attended a ball game and followed the game via the scoreboard and press box announcements, that would be the work of Dave. If you have enjoyed a hotdog or bag of popcorn at the concession stand it was Karen that prepared them. I hope that you can find it within your heart and budget to donate to the Kruckow Cause.
