Remembering Kristine Hudson: Help Us Continue Her 30-Year Legacy
We are sharing this GoFundMe with heavy hearts as we remember Kristine Hudson, who passed away on April 29th, 1995, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Kristine lived an incredible life, dedicating 24 years as a passionate and vibrant foreign language teacher at Lake Fenton. A devoted mother and dedicated teacher, she was a legend—a fun-loving force who made her classroom and community shine.
A Teacher Who Took Them Around the World
Kristine made education a transformative adventure, literally taking her students beyond the classroom:
She organized and led student trips to incredible places, including Mexico, Canada, Europe, and the South Sea Islands.
She taught students the limbo and immersed them in culture by sharing local cuisines.
Beyond travel and the classroom, Kristine was deeply active:
She helped initiate the Student of the Month program at Lake Fenton.
She ran the Senior Graduation at the Whiting Auditorium.
She was an active member of the Linden Lions Club and involved in the Durand Railroad Days.
She will be deeply missed. Remember the good times.
