On November 26, my sister and brother-in-law, Whitney & Shayne Kraczek, unexpectedly welcomed beautiful twin girls, Molly James and Tyler June, at 30 weeks gestation. Their delivery story is a wild one (see Shayne’s Facebook post), but for the purpose of this post, we are just thankful that mama and babes are all okay. Overall, for being as early and teeny as they were (Molly at 2lbs, 10oz and Tyler at 2lbs, 13oz), the twins are doing remarkedly well so far. They are in the NICU at Mountain View Hospital in Idaho Falls and hooked up to what seems like a million different cords and monitors, but are continuing to gain. The doctors and nurses have been incredible and are anticipating that Molly and Tyler will be in the NICU at least until their due date (February 5, 2025), which is approximately 2 months from now.

For those of you who aren’t aware, Whit, Shayne, and their older girls, Reese (2yrs, 3mo) and Cameron (9 mo) live in Mackay, Idaho which is approximately 1.5 hours (100 miles) from Idaho Falls, where the twins are in the NICU. In order to be near the twins, the Kraczek family has temporarily relocated to a rental house in Idaho Falls for the next 2 months. Obviously this situation has created unexpected expenses (a rental house, food, travel, etc, not to mention the hospital bills that are coming). The Kraczek family has already been showered with so much love and support from people wanting to help, provide meals, diapers, financial assistance and they are extremely grateful for everyone’s contributions! The number one way they are hoping for support is through the power of prayer for their beautiful twins’ continued strength. But the earthly expenses continue to stack up so we have also created this simple way to support them, if anyone feels inclined.
