In the early hours of July 7th, 2025, a tragic house fire completely destroyed the home of Chris and Joy Konop, two of the most caring and giving people you could ever meet.

By the grace of God, Chris and Joy and their three beautiful children, Kaitlyn (15), Joshua (13), and Matthew (9) as well as the family pet all made it out safely however the fire moved fast, and they’ve lost absolutely everything…Clothes. Keepsakes. Furniture. Even both of their family vehicles which were parked in the garage. Every basic need — gone in an instant.

Now, they’re faced with the unimaginable task of starting completely over, from the ground up.

This is all so hard to believe and will be a long road for the Konop’s to face. If anyone knows them, they will recognize how loved and respected they are in our community. Chris and Joy have spent their lives helping others — always giving, always showing up. Now it’s our turn to show up for them.

We’re raising funds to help cover immediate essentials like clothes, food, housing, and day-to-day needs as they navigate the weeks ahead. Any donation, big or small, makes a difference.
