Support the Kokonaing Family

Early in the morning on Wednesday, January 22nd, Gabriel suffered a severe stroke while he was at home. He was rushed to the hospital and has since had surgery as an effort to help manage the bleeding from the aneurysm.

He is currently sedated and being closely monitored and cared for in the ICU with hopes of recovery. He continues to have some bleeding and drainage, which we are being told is normal post-operation. He has shown some movement and some response, which we are thankful for and are holding onto as steps in the right direction.

We don't know what the outcome will be for Gabriel's recovery, but we do know that it will be a very slow and long process. We remain hopeful and pray for peace and healing. We are so thankful for the outpouring of support and encouragement that our community has already shown us.
