Support the Koch Family - Fighting for Ellie

Those that love the Kochs want to support them in all ways possible. Sarah and Christian have a long road ahead with sweet Ellie and we would love to wrap them in prayer as well as financial support. Ellie is currently being treated at the Children's Hospital. Ellie has already undergone many and will continue to undergo many tests, procedures, and potential surgeries. Ellie is a fighter! We believe the Lord can provide miracles. Funds raised will be going toward extensive medical bills, the cost of travel, and living arrangements while Ellie is in the hospital.

Here is an update that Sarah and Christian wrote to family and friends:

To our friends and family, I am writing this to ask for your help in partnering with us in prayer. Our baby girl came into this world on 1/12 and her name is Elliana “Ellie” Jeanne Koch. Shortly after birth, she was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect and suffered greatly within the first few hours of her life due to lack of oxygen to her body. Since, she has had to endure many issues and procedures. She is currently fighting for her life at Devos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids. The doctors have been incredible and are giving her every chance they can to survive. We are taking it hour by hour with her and are praying continuously for little and big miracles.

With that said, I am sharing because I believe in the power of prayer and I believe in the power of the surrounding of family, friends, and loved ones. Please join us in praying for our sweet Ellie. We desire the biggest prayer warrior team that she can get and ask that you join us in that.

Elliana means “My God has answered” and “My God is gracious”. We believe that to be true and pray that over Ellie’s life. Right now the biggest prayer requests are for her kidneys, brain, and heart.

We are grateful for the miracles we have seen so far and have faith and trust that we will continue to feel God's love, presence, and provision through this journey. Thank you for your love and support.
