Support the Knitter Family's Flood Recovery
Donation protected
The Knitters are generous and giving people and are there for their friends and families when they need it. I am setting up this page to help the Knitter family in their time of need. This morning the river across the street from their home on Menomonee river parkway rapidly rose and the flood waters ravaged their basement, first floor ranch home and both vehicles. They have a 5 year old daughter and 2 puppies and are currently displaced. I’m asking for financial support for our dear friends as they begin the lengthy process of recovering from this terrible, devastating, and historic flood. Kevin woke up to the water being at his ankles and they needed to be evacuated by rescue boat shortly after and while the extent of the damage is not known as of yet, it will likely be a long and expensive process to rebuild the life they had on the parkway in Wauwatosa. Any financial support you generously donate will be given directly to support this wonderful family during one of the most difficult and challenging situations they’ve had to face. It is unknown when they will be able to return to their home and begin the restoration process.
