Support the Knight Family After Tragic Loss
Donation protected
On July 8th, 2025, the unthinkable happened. Bo Knight, just 18 years old, was tragically killed in a single-car accident. His car rolled while navigating a curve, and he died on the scene. He was the only person involved.
Bo was a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew him. He had an infectious energy and a heart that made everyone feel loved and seen. Whether he was performing on stage, dancing, singing, or cheering, Bo lived fully and unapologetically. He participated in an incredible range of activities—competitive clogging, dance company, theater, choir, and competitive cheer. His creativity and charisma were unmatched.
He was also a young man with drive and purpose. Bo earned his phlebotomy certification and was set to begin medical assisting school. He had recently been awarded a full-ride scholarship to the University of Utah but was taking a year to work, grow, and prepare for the next chapter of his life. He had been working at Jimmy John’s in Payson, saving money, and figuring out his path.
Now, his family—his mother Starling, father Austin, older sister Sydney, and younger brother Drew—are facing the unimaginable. Their grief is overwhelming, their world forever changed.
In addition to this heartbreaking loss, the Knight family has also been carrying a quiet burden for the past nine months. In April 2024, Austin lost his job as Director of Fulfillment at a successful Utah-based company. He led warehouse operations, managed logistics, optimized systems, and was known for saving the company significant time and money. Despite applying for hundreds of positions and attending countless interviews, Austin remains unemployed—through no fault of his own. He continues to search every day with relentless dedication.
This GoFundMe was created to help the Knight family cover the unexpected and crushing costs of Bo’s funeral and memorial services. Any additional funds will go toward helping the family stay afloat financially as they grieve and heal, giving them room to breathe without the added weight of bills, job hunting, and economic uncertainty.
If you’ve ever met Bo—or know someone who has—you know what a special soul this world just lost. And if you know the Knight family, you know how deeply this has shaken them.
No parent should have to plan their child’s funeral. No family should have to grieve while worrying about how to stay financially afloat.
Please consider donating if you’re able. If you can’t give financially, sharing this fundraiser and sending love, prayers, or memories of Bo is just as meaningful. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your compassion and support during this devastating time.
With love and gratitude,
Nick Einbender (Starling’s brother and Bo’s Uncle)
