Support the Knapp Family's Recovery from the Eaton Fire
Donation protected
On January 7, 2025, the Knapp family—Chris, Victoria, Hendrick (17), Grayson (12), and their beloved dogs, Bowie and Ember—lost their Altadena home in the devastating Eaton Fire. While they are incredibly grateful to have evacuated safely, they never imagined they would lose their home and all their possessions. In the rush to leave, they were unable to take many personal and sentimental belongings, making the loss even more heartbreaking—especially for the boys, who lost so many of their comfort items.
Now, they are facing the overwhelming challenge of rebuilding their lives from the ground up. Any funds raised will go directly toward temporary housing, essential belongings, and helping them find stability in this difficult time.
Victoria has been a pillar of the community, leading crisis management efforts as the Chair of the Altadena Town Council—a role that has become all-consuming in the wake of the fire. While she has been tirelessly working to support others, her own family now needs our help. Chris has been focused on managing the logistics for the boys, ensuring they have what they need to feel safe and secure.
Let’s come together to support the Knapp family and show them just how much their community cares. Any donation, big or small, or just sharing this with your network will make a big difference. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
(I’m Jennifer Reid, a long time family friend of the Knapp family).
