Support the Klingseisen Family's Fight Against Cancer

Dear Friends and Family,

We have set up this GoFundMe account to support the Klingseisen family—Travis, Ashley, Mason, Nolan, and Avery—who are currently facing an incredibly challenging time. The Klingseisens are a loving and hardworking family who have always been there for others in times of need. Now, it's our turn to be there for them.

Here is an update from Ashley, Travis's wife:

"Many don’t know, but recently Travis has had some serious health issues. To make a long story short, he had 2 seizures on Memorial Day. A month later, he experienced an excruciating headache for 4 days, which led to a visit to our local Emergency Department. There, they discovered a mass on his brain, and we were sent to Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Travis spent a week there undergoing various tests and scans and was referred to a team of neurosurgeons.

On July 23rd, Travis had a 16-hour brain surgery to remove 'a large, large portion' of the tumor, as reported by the neurosurgeons. After four days in the hospital, Travis transitioned to a rehabilitation facility to continue therapy sessions (occupational, physical, and speech) and the healing process.

Last Thursday, we had his post-op appointment with the neurosurgeons, who unfortunately confirmed that Travis has aggressive Glioblastoma brain cancer. Despite this news, Travis has amazed everyone and came home from rehab earlier than expected! We are so proud of his determination and hard work.

As a result of the cancer diagnosis, we have two oncology appointments next week to discuss treatments, which will likely include a combination of chemotherapy and radiation. We are certain that God has placed us in the best hands for Travis's medical care. We greatly appreciate all the love, support, and prayers.

Despite these difficult circumstances, the Klingseisens have remained strong and hopeful. However, the burden is heavy, and they cannot carry it alone.
