The Kleins are going through the unimaginable right now...
Having just spent two weeks in quarantine with COVID, the Kleins were finished their quarantine and heading back to work. On Monday, Apr 5th Kevin returned home from his first day back at work, only to have a serious seizure. He was taken to the hospital and, after having a second seizure, was moved to neurology in Saskatoon to await several tests. An MRI on Thursday showed that they are dealing with a tumour in his brain that is currently being deemed inoperable. They also located a second tumour giving the indication that they are dealing with cancer, but want to confirm with a biopsy which is scheduled for Monday, Apr 12th.
While being in the hospital during COVID, Kevin is only allowed one authorized visitor, which is Shannon, and she is only able to visit for one hour a day. This in itself has been extremely emotionally taxing. Kevin will hopefully be heading home soon, but will be unable to work for some time.
If you know the Kleins, you know they are strong-willed, kind-hearted, and amazing people. They really enjoy life to the fullest and take on everything with a positive attitude. They have four wonderful kids who share their kindness and zest for life. During this time of uncertainty, they could really use your prayers and support. This isn’t something Kevin and Shannon ever expected and already so many people have expressed a desire to help. We don’t want finances to be one of their worries, so please keep them in your thoughts and prayers, and consider donating if you want to help. Anything is greatly appreciated.
