The Holy Scriptures Bible Society, a Christian non-profit organization, is conducting this project, now in its eighth year, to faithfully, definitively, and minimally update the antiquated language of the King James Version (KJV) of the Holy Bible for our generation. The KJV was translated more than 400 years ago, and it is a beautiful and excellent translation of God’s word. However, many words and definitions used by the version have now become archaic and generally unfamiliar. This development is problematic for today's readers and hearers of the KJV to understand the word of the Lord. This is the project to help those in our generation who still use and trust the KJV to better and more easily learn the Bible. The time has come for a trustworthy and minimal update of the KJV that retains the same meaning for 100% of the Bible. Help us to accomplish the task for the glory of God and the advancement of his holy word in the world. May God be magnified!
