Support the Kitters through Leukemia
Donation protected
Mitch and the rest of the incredible Kitter family could use our support! In May 2024, after 1230 days, 10,000+ pills, 250+ Chemo Infusions, 100+ units of blood and platelets, 30+ flights to Seattle, 20+ Lumbar punctures and 4 Bone Marrow Biopsies, Mitch's Leukemia decided to rear its ugly head again.
In order to accommodate Mitch's new treatment schedule and upcoming Bone Marrow Transplant on July 25th, the Kitters are having to maintain dual residency in Seattle and Anchorage. Shalem will be keeping the studio going to provide for the family while Mitch is unable to work. He and Rhonda will be trading back and forth in order to support Mitch in Seattle and their three year old son, Porter, in Anchorage.
Going to a single income while maintaining two residences is certainly going to take its toll on the family. If there is one thing we can all do to help, it is to ease the financial burden that Mitch and Shalem are facing. Mitch's treatment will be mostly covered by insurance, but it does not cover housing (6 month lease), transportation, supplements and supplies, miscellaneous costs and unexpected time away from the Studio and office. Any donation large or small will certainly help alleviate this financial strain.
