Frank King and his family have had a tragic few months. In March, Frank's 27-year-old daughter had a heart attack that put her in an immediate coma. She has been in the ICU at the University of Washington for months and is now responding to light.

In addition, when Frank arrived at the hospital, he learned that he was going to be a grandfather. The baby was brought into the world 4 months premature and is also at the UW in the Neonatal Infant Care Unit.

Frank and his family are now hopefully preparing to bring both mother and baby home in the next month or two. Frank's daughter will require round-the-clock care for an undetermined amount of time as any improvements in her condition are uncertain.

As you can imagine, expenses have skyrocketed for the King family. If you feel inclined, this fundraiser has been established to help in this time of need.
