Hello everyone,

My name is Nicole Chong, and I am a long-time friend of Hanna Kim. I am helping raise funds for Hanna’s mom as they recently experienced the heartbreaking loss of their beloved husband and father, Chris Sung Moon Kim, who passed away on October 7, 2025. Chris was a wonderful father, husband, and friend - full of life, joy, and jokes. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Jeong Hye Kim, and their three daughters, Hanna, Christy, and Michelle.

Earlier this year, Chris celebrated his 60th birthday and his 25th wedding anniversary with Rebecca - milestones that reflected a life filled with love and dedication. Anyone who met Chris knew his warm, welcoming spirit - something he passed along to his beautiful daughters. To know Chris was to know devotion to family, generosity to others, and a tireless work ethic.
