Update from the Kim Family

After being diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer on November 2023, Roy's devoted wife Lucia had sacrificed everything to provide 24/7 care for him and it's been nearly impossible for her to work. Now, the Kim family is asking for your help to cover the cost of the medical bills and added funeral services.

After his hard-fought 15-month battle, Roy J. Kim passed away on February 19th, 2025 and we are grateful that his wife Lucia and his children, Isabel, Farzan and Fatimah, were by his side.

Despite a terminal journey with cancer , he endured immense pain yet remained so positive so he could spend as much time as possible with the people he loved most.

Despite his prognosis for survival, he was able to walk his daughter Isabel down the aisle for her wedding, after a year of going through chemotherapy and treatments.

Roy was always present and a guiding figure for his son Farzan and daughter Fatimah during their big life changes.

As an active member of his church, Roy served on many missions and helped his community constantly.

Roy was the proudest LA sports fan, and finally got to see his beloved Dodgers win the World Series last year.

Roy was loved by so many people for his gentle spirit and kind heart, and he will be dearly missed by all.
