We’re Juan, Krish, and Megan, three young creators teaming up to bring a powerful story to life.

Our new project, The Key Left Behind, started as a story book written by Megan Thorburn, an emerging author who’s working toward publishing her first major work soon. This film adaptation is not only her debut into the world of screen storytelling, but it’s her FIRST project ever to be brought to the screen.

This is a big step for all of us.

For Krish & Juan as filmmakers.

For Megan as a writer.

And for the story itself, which is honest, emotional, and built from a place of real experience.

What the Film Is About

Without giving away the heart of the plot, The Key Left Behind explores:

It’s a grounded psychological drama, intimate, atmospheric, and character-driven. A single key becomes the turning point that forces the characters to confront everything they've avoided.

We're aiming for a visual style that’s quiet, raw, and deeply human. This isn’t a big studio production. It’s a story told with intention.

We’ve adapted it into a cinematic vision.

We’re deep into development and ready to move into production soon.
