In 2021, Kevin's family set up the Kevin Norris #31 Scholarship Fund to recognize outstanding lacrosse players graduating from Winter Park High School. In 2025, we raised enough funds to present scholarships to one player from the boys' team and one player from the girls' team. We are reaching out to Kevin's friends and family who would like to contribute to the #31 Scholarship Award for 2026 graduates. Recipients of the scholarship are chosen by their coaches for outstanding play, sportsmanship, and academic achievement. All recipients must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Kevin played on the WPHS Lacrosse team from 1997 to 2000, winning the state championship with the Wildcats in 1999. He was named to the USA Lacrosse All-American Team two years in a row and received an Academic All-American Award his senior year at Winter Park. Kevin was also the recipient of the Brendan O'Sullivan Scholarship Award in 2000. Kev went on to play lacrosse for the University of Florida's club team. We lost Kevin in 2016 at the age of 35 after he suffered several strokes. We know Kevin would be proud to see us continue his love for the game by honoring student-athletes graduating from Winter Park High School. Thank you so much for your donations to the Kevin Norris #31 Scholarship Fund and for helping us continue his legacy.
Sincerely,
The Snyder, Norris and Bauer families
