It’s with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news that our dear friend Chris Kelley has passed away. Chris wasn’t just a friend—he was a cornerstone of the Raptor community, a man of faith, a devoted husband and father, and the driving force behind Freedom Motorsports.

Since the first Raptor hit the roads back in 2010, Chris has been there—building trucks, friendships, and unforgettable memories. Whether you met him on a trail, at an event, or through his shop, you know the kind of man he was: kind, humble, and always ready to help someone in need. His love for God, his family, and this community was evident in everything he did.

Chris leaves behind a loving wife and three beautiful children. As they face this unimaginable loss, we want to do everything we can to support them—not only with our prayers and love, but by helping ease some of the immediate burdens that come with losing a loved one so suddenly.

In honor of Chris, and everything he gave to all of us, we’re rallying together as a community. 100% of the proceeds from our prize giveaway from this year’s Dust Devil event will be donated directly to the Kelley family. But we know we can do more—so we’re launching this GoFundMe to provide additional support in their time of need.

Every dollar raised will go toward helping Chris’s family with funeral expenses and bringing them some peace and stability as they begin to navigate life without him.
