Support the Kees Family After Hurricane Helene
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Community,
I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart to help the Kees Family—Caitlin, Nathan, and their three wonderful children—who have recently experienced a devastating loss due to Hurricane Helene. Their beloved home sustained significant damage when a large tree fell on their roof, landing on their children’s bedroom. Thankfully, they were away for the night and no one was hurt, but the impact on their lives has been profound.
Caitlin and Nathan have dedicated the last decade to serving Oconee County through their business Walhalla Power Tumbling, and more recently The Wild Child indoor play space. They’ve created safe and joyful environments for countless children, often going above and beyond to give back to those around them.
Now, as they navigate the challenges of repairing their home and managing the aftermath of this disaster, they need our support. While their insurance is helping with temporary lodging, the claims process is slow, and they are facing mounting expenses. On top of this, their businesses have suffered from the loss of power and foot traffic over the past few days.
We have an opportunity to show our appreciation for all that Caitlin, Nathan, and their family have done for our community. Your generous contributions will help cover meals, living expenses, and support their businesses during this tough time.
Let’s come together to uplift a family that has given so much to us. Any amount, big or small, can make a significant difference.
