It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Glen Katz's passing after a courageous battle with brain cancer. Glen was a beloved husband, father, son, and friend to many. Glen loved attending his children’s sporting events and cheering their teams on. Throughout his life, Glen touched the hearts of everyone he met with his infectious smile and unwavering positivity. Even during his toughest moments, he never lost his sense of humor or his determination to live life to the fullest. Glen passed late on Monday July 22nd, in his home, surrounded by his loving family. Glen is survived by his mother Carole, wife Lisa, and 3 children, Justin, Olivia, and Jessica.

Visitation services will be held at N.F. Walker Funeral home in Merrick on Friday July 26th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. In lieu of flowers, any donations would be greatly appreciated and will help to lessen the burden on the family through this difficult time.
