Last Wednesday morning, Eleni Kataxenos and her mother, Noula Kataxenos, were involved in a serious car accident when another driver struck their vehicle. Both were rushed to the hospital, where it was discovered that Eleni had sustained multiple severe injuries.

Eleni’s injuries include a fractured femur, a nicked aorta, a lacerated spleen, a fractured sternum, and a broken arm. She remains in the hospital and faces a long and difficult road to recovery, including extensive rehabilitation in the weeks to come.

We are incredibly grateful that Noula has been discharged and is recovering at home, though she suffered fractured ribs and significant bruising.
