In loving memory of Karen and Larry Helton, we are raising funds for the Karen S Helton Memorial Scholarship for Aspiring Teachers. This scholarship fund was established in memory of Karen S. Helton and will soon be changed to the Karen and Larry Helton Memorial Scholarship in memory of Larry Helton as well. Karen was a dedicated elementary teacher who spent most of her career teaching 4th grade at Shadycrest Elementary. Larry was a high school teacher and coach who spent most of his career excelling on the field and in the classroom at Pearland High School. The difference that Karen and Larry made in the lives of their students and other teachers is immeasurable. This scholarship fund was established to continue their legacy by rewarding excellence and inspiring a lifetime of service to aspiring teachers.

Let’s come together to celebrate two amazing educators and ensure their passion for teaching continues to flourish. Please consider donating and sharing this campaign with others. Thank you for your support!
