Hello, my name is Laureen, and I am a friend of the Kapson Family.

On October 28th, the lives of Kapson’s were turned upside down when a devastating house fire destroyed their home. Thankfully, everyone made it out safely, but they lost most everything in the fire. In a matter of hours, a lifetime of memories and possessions were gone.

The loss has been heartbreaking and overwhelming. Their home was not just a house, but the place where they created their life together. Now, they are left with nothing but the clothes on their backs.

We've started this GoFundMe to help them get back on their feet during this unimaginable time. The funds raised will go directly to the family and will be used for:

-Immediate necessities, such as new clothes, food, and toiletries.

-Temporary housing while they figure out their next steps.

-Replacing essential items lost in the fire.

-Assisting with other unforeseen costs as they begin to rebuild their lives.
