Hi, my name is Brittni Williams, and I'm reaching out to our community with a heavy heart. Our wonderful neighbors and friends, the Kane family of Liberty Hill, suffered a devastating loss on May 6th. A lightning strike tragically ignited their home in Stonewall Ranch, and they lost everything.

Imagine the heartbreak of losing all your possessions in an instant. For the Kanes, this includes clothing, toiletries, toys, books, art, and irreplaceable memories.

The Kanes are truly the heart of our community. Many of you know Emily for her incredible volunteer work at our schools (including running the Bill Burden garden), offering free swim lessons to neighborhood kids, and always being the first to organize help for families in need. Even in the face of this unimaginable tragedy, their strength and kindness shine through.

This fund will provide crucial support for the Kanes. Your donations will help them secure temporary housing, replace essential clothing and food, and begin the long journey of rebuilding their lives, including replacing furniture, children's items, and covering lost wages.
