Chad and Sarina are two hard working and loving parents of four beautiful children, Hayden, Talon, Sutton, and Taten. Along with devoting their life to their children, they are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet. Loving life and sports and living in San Diego, they are kind hearted, generous and caring to their family, friends, and community.
But life suddenly changed for them on March 12th of 2026. While Chad was driving in his car, Chad had an asthma attack which he has experienced on occasion many times in his life, but this time Chad did not respond to his rescue inhaler. Feeling short of breath, he was miraculously able to drive himself to the nearest emergency department. Upon arrival to the hospital he became unresponsive. After lifesaving efforts were given, he was admitted into the ICU where he was intubated, placed on a ventilator, and put in a medically induced coma.
It was one week after the initial incident, when Sarina was finally able to catch her breath and process everything that had happened. It was around this time when hospital staff had also approached her with words such as “his recovery will be long,” “expect for him to need in-home care,” etc. If it wasn’t enough that everything in Sarina’s life had completely turned upside down, she also came to the realization that without her husband working, it would be impossible to make ends meet. Despite the challenges that Chad was facing, he is making progress and proving that doctors aren’t always right in their predictions.
Chad‘s job is commission based and requires a lot of daily walking. So as he is recovering he will be unable to work, and if he doesn’t work he doesn’t get a paycheck.
