The Junebug Foundation needs your support!

We have a dream of building an intake and foster shelter where high-risk animals can have a safe place to heal, grow, and get their second chance at life. And we need your help to make that dream a reality.

As one of Junebug’s foster families, I have personally fostered nearly 100 at-risk puppies in just a year and a half. As amazing as that number sounds, I know we could have helped so many more if we had a facility designed for the needs of these animals.

Right now, I foster out of a tiny home with a pen set up on my porch. While we make it work because these puppies deserve it, the weather in Northern California can make things incredibly difficult. Freezing winters and extremely hot summers make it challenging to keep vulnerable puppies comfortable and safe.

A dedicated shelter would completely change what we are able to do. ❤️

A temperature-controlled, clean and safe environment for animals coming into rescue

More kennels and pens so we can take in additional litters and mothers needing a safe place to give birth

Isolation space for puppies recovering from contagious illnesses before moving into foster homes

A dedicated bathing station for medicated baths, flea and tick treatments, skin conditions, and wound care

A safe landing place for animals who need immediate help while we search for foster families

An enrichment and play area where puppies can safely learn, socialize, and have fun

A welcoming meet-and-greet space where potential adopters can spend time with the puppies

A photo area where we can showcase each puppy and help them find their forever families

Most importantly, this shelter would allow us to say YES to more animals who desperately need someone to say yes.

There are so many puppies and vulnerable animals in our community who never get the second chance they deserve simply because there isn't enough space, enough fosters, or the right facilities.

We want to change that.
