Oh my goodness!
I never thought I would find myself here, searching for words to explain a moment that still doesn’t feel real.
Over the weekend, a sudden apartment fire took away the space I called home and nearly everything I owned. In what felt like the blink of an eye, the familiar became ash, and the place that once held comfort now holds silence. I am deeply grateful to be safe, but the aftermath has been heavy in ways I’m still learning how to carry.
I’ve always been someone who moves quietly through hardship, choosing strength even when it’s difficult, choosing pride when it would be easier to ask. Even though I don’t ever take my own advice. This moment has gently reminded me that strength isn’t always found in standing alone sometimes it lives in allowing yourself to be held, even briefly, by the kindness of others.
This is not posted lightly, nor without deep consideration. It is simply a small bridge between where I am and the path forward a soft step toward rebuilding, healing, and finding steady ground again.
If you feel moved to support or share, please know that your kindness is received with immense gratitude and humility. More than anything, thank you for seeing me in this moment and for being part of the light that guides me forward.
Thank you so much!
