Speeder's Journey to Innsbruck: Paraclimbing World Cup '25
Donation protected

Hello all - In just two weeks, I’ll be heading to Innsbruck, Austria, to compete in my first Paraclimbing World Cup. This is a big milestone for me as I continue to push myself as a climber and an athlete.
Two years ago, I beat stage 4 cancer after undergoing a right leg amputation and 9 months of chemo. After a hard recovery process, I found climbing as a way to rebuild both physically and mentally.
After training for just one year I earned a spot on the US Paraclimbing National Team. My love for the sport grew very fast. It’s been an incredible journey and in that time doors have opened for me and my partner that we never thought were imaginable.
Competing on the world stage comes with its challenges—travel, gear, and entry fees all quickly add up. Although we have some support from our sponsors, we do a majority of this ourselves. Any donations would go a long way in helping me get to Austria and give my best performance on the World Cup stage.
Thank you all for being part of this journey helping me reach my goals. I am beyond excited to show everyone what I have been working towards this last year. Climbing has changed my life and I am grateful for the opportunities that have come of it! Still feels like we are just getting started.
