Help Kelsey Brandin Represent Team USA at the Deaflympics in Tokyo 2025!

We’re beyond proud to share that Kelsey has been officially selected to represent Team USA in 2-on-2 Beach Volleyball at the 2025 Deaflympics in Tokyo, Japan! This incredible opportunity takes place November 15–23, and with your support, we can help make her dream a reality.

About Kelsey:
Kelsey’s volleyball story started where many great ones do—in the sand, hanging out with her dad at the beach. What began as a casual post-college hobby quickly turned into a passion, a lifestyle, and a source of deep friendships and community.

Volleyball is so much more than just a sport for Kelsey—it's a way of life. From early morning training sessions to wild and creative costume tournaments, she brings joy, energy, and style to everything she does. She’s a beloved part of the South Bay volleyball scene—not just because of her skills on the court, but because of the way she lifts everyone around her. Whether it’s hyping up teammates, dancing in between plays, or organizing fun local events, Kelsey lives and breathes the community she’s helped build.

She has had mild to severe hearing loss since the age of 4 and has worn hearing aids ever since. Growing up, though, she rarely wore them during sports—maybe because she didn’t want to hear her name being called to sub off the field… or her dad and coaches yelling from the sidelines.

Now, she’ll be re-living that “silent sports” experience in a whole new way—Deaflympics athletes aren’t allowed to wear hearing devices while competing. But don’t worry—Kelsey’s ready, and training harder than ever.

You’ll find her living and training in the South Bay, always chasing down serves, diving in the sand, and giving it her all with her signature energy, heart, and gratitude.

Why Your Support Matters:
Unlike the USA Olympic and Paralympic teams, the Deaflympics doesn’t receive major institutional funding, which means athletes like Kelsey need to raise their own support to get to the global stage. We’re raising funds to help cover, travel, lodging, entry fees, equipment, and trainings.

Did You Know?
The Deaflympics began in 1924 (before the Paralympics started in the 1960s) as the “International Silent Games” in Paris, and was the first-ever international sporting event for athletes with a disability. It’s a movement built on inclusion, resilience, and fierce athleticism—and Kelsey is honored to carry that legacy forward.

❤️ Every Dollar Helps
Every single donation makes a real difference. If you can’t donate right now, sharing this campaign with your community means the world too.

Let’s help Kelsey bring home gold for Team USA—and do it with grit, gratitude, and a whole lot of heart.

Thank you for supporting her journey. Go Team USA, and go Kelsey!
