Joshua Thomas Lucius was born on April 24, 1996, to his loving parents, Thomas and Jodi Lucius. He was an amazingly talented young man with the biggest heart, the brightest smile, and the most infectious laugh. Joshua was the heart and soul to his momma and his dad’s best friend. He loved with his whole heart and would have gone to the ends of the earth to help someone in need. On October 30, 2022, Joshua married the love of his life, Abby, who was his rock and the one person who truly knew him. He leaves behind a family and community who will forever cherish the moments spent with him, including his beloved wife Abby, his parents, his in-laws, siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. His dogs Diesel, Kruz, and Lola will miss their daddy dearly. Joshua was predeceased by his grandmother, grandfather, favorite aunt, great-grandparents, and several other loved ones.
Joshua’s passing was sudden and unexpected, leaving his family facing significant financial challenges as they try to cover funeral expenses and memorial services. The burden of these costs, along with debts left behind, has added to their heartache during an already difficult time.
As someone who has known Jodi and Tom Lucius for the past 10 years, I can say they are dear friends who have always given so much to others. Joshua’s kindness, love for motorcycles, and pride in his work as a mechanic touched so many lives.
Now, in his spirit of giving, I hope others will come together to support his family—helping to ease their pain and alleviate the financial burdens they face and saving the truck he so loved.
Your support, especially during the holiday season, will mean the world to them. Please consider donating, and hold your loved ones close.
