My name is Allison and I live in NC. I am raising funds on behalf of the Jones family, my boyfriend Ranjay Riction Jones family, in Clarendon and St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. Pictured with his father above.

Many members of the Jones family suffered extensive damage to their homes on October 28, 2025, when a category 5 hurricane named Melissa hit Jamaica, devastating nearly the entire island. The category 5 force winds blew through, lifting off their roofs, throwing debris through their windows, and knocking trees down onto their homes and vehicles. Once the structures were damaged, the rain flooded their homes and destroyed belongings, including clothing and other personal items. They are unable to live inside many of their homes.

We are seeking funds to help keep them fed and clothed, and help them clean up and rebuild the damage to their homes. While we might not be able to help everyone rebuild fully, we want to raise enough to help provide some essentials while the rebuilding process begins.

While I reside in North Carolina, and my boyfriend works here part of the year, the rest of the year he lives near his family in Clarendon and St. Elizabeth. Fortunately, he is here working and wasn't in the storm, but his own home was damaged greatly. We will distribute the funds raised to him and his family in Jamaica.

We raised money last year for his father when his home was damaged from Hurricane Beryl. Here we are again; his father is again without a roof and homeless. Thank you to all who donated then, and thank you for donating to our new goal for his father and many other members of his family.

May you be blessed.
