Support the Jeffersons After Serious Accident
Donation protected
On June 8, my friend Bailey, her husband Isaac, and their infant daughter Lainey were involved in a devastating head-on collision in Nebraska. We are so grateful that their family survived, but the physical, emotional, and financial toll has been immense.
Isaac and Lainey thankfully sustained only minor injuries; however, Bailey suffered multiple serious injuries including fractures to her pelvis, femur, tibia, fibula, ankle, and wrist — leaving her unable to use three of her four limbs.
Over the past month since the accident, Bailey has made remarkable progress: moving from the ICU to the PCU (Progressive Care Unit) and is now in a nursing home while she heals enough to begin rehabilitation in Lincoln at Madonna. There, she will begin the difficult journey of learning to walk again.
Even with insurance covering a significant portion of the costs, the family faces an estimated $30,000 in out-of-pocket expenses. I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of the Jefferson family so that they can focus on what matters most – healing, recovery, and being together. Every dollar raised will go directly toward covering their out-of-pocket medical expenses.
If you're not in a position to give financially, please know your prayers and well wishes are just as appreciated! Bailey and her family have a long road ahead of them, but let’s come together to remind them they’re not walking it alone!
