Support the Jansen family in their time of need

This is for my niece and her beautiful, sweet family. In July, Heather was severely injured in a horseback riding accident which fractured her pelvis in four places and also fractured her sacrum (which provides spinal stability). This will take a very long time to heal, and she must use a wheelchair or a walker. Mostly, though, she is supposed to stay in her hospital bed and needs help with everything at the moment. She is a stay-at-home mom who was just starting up a small online shop prior to this.

Her husband, Jake, had taken off several weeks to stay home and care for her and their two small children (1 and 3), only using PFLA, which is approximately 2/3 of his regular pay. He had to return to work this past week, and then on Tuesday, August 26, he had a serious medical issue himself and is in the ICU. Doctors are still not quite sure what the cause is or how long/how much he will be able to recover from this. This is a heartbreaking situation.

They can file for disability, but again, that is only a portion of his regular pay and takes forever to start. Our entire family is trying to help them get through this, but it will be a long, difficult road, and medical bills are starting to pile up, as well as the normal bills. Plus, they will also be needing child care. If you can, please consider a donation, any amount would help them, and if you can't, that's fine too, but please share this far and wide.
