Support the Jamieson Family's Recovery Journey

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Stephanie and I created this GoFundMe for the Jamieson family. I’ve been blessed to know the Jamieson family for 24 years and through those years my amazing friend, Dr. Tiffany Jamieson-Ellis, has done the impossible on more than one occasion to save my beloved fur babies. Although she started out as my veterinarian, she has grown to a friend who, in my heart, is family.
On May 14th, the Jamieson family endured an unexpected vehicle accident. The father, Jamie Jamieson (Tiffany’s brother) and both of his sons were headed home from Charlotte when the accident happened. They were taken to Greenville, where the father (Jamie) is still in the ICU after multiple surgeries. Unfortunately, they don't see him coming home any time soon.
Here is an excerpt from what Tiffany shared with me regarding the injuries sustained by her brother and nephews in the unimaginable car accident:

“My brother and two nephews were in a horrible motor vehicle accident in NC on Tuesday. My brother and both nephews were transported to the trauma unit at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville, NC.
My nephew Chase has a broken neck, broken back, broken scapula, and was scalped. Chase had surgery on Tuesday night to repair his head and had back surgery on Thursday. The neurosurgeon placed two rods down his back from T-1 to T-7 and plated it with screws. He is in a lot of pain still and will start intensive physical therapy. He will be in a neck and back brace for at least 6 -12 months.
My nephew Pierce has whiplash and a sprained ankle. Although he received minimal injuries, the worst is probably the PTSD he will have to live with since he was the one that pulled himself out of the truck to attend to his dad while watching him hemorrhage from the neck. Taking his shirt off, he made a tourniquet for his fathers neck to save his dad.
My brother is still in critical condition, in the ICU and has a traumatic brain injury. He also has a fractured skull and jaw, broken shoulder/humerus/femur/both tibia/fibulas/ankle/shattered knee and a few huge lacerations on the left side of his face and neck. He had surgery on Thursday to have an external fixator placed on his left femur and right tibia/fibula. This is just a temporary fix at this stage.
He underwent a 13 hour surgery yesterday to do a tracheostomy and to reconstruct the left side of his face. It took 9 plates, lots of screws, and titanium mesh to complete it.
He is still not awake and will not respond to any commands. The injury to his brain is diffuse, so it is a waiting game. We are hopeful and praying every day that he will wake up, open his eyes, and see his amazing family that has gathered here to welcome him back. Please keep my family in your prayers. We need all the love and support we can get right now.”
Christina, Jamie’s wife, is renting an Airbnb in order to remain by Jamie's side.
This family could use some serious prayers that Jamie can continue fighting and make a full recovery. Pray that Chase can continue getting stronger every day with PT and that Pierce can recover mentally from the accident. As you can see this will require a lengthy stay in the hospital; any and all donations are greatly appreciated by the family and your prayers are paramount.
