Our family is going through an incredibly painful and challenging time after the loss of our beloved father to stage 4 kidney cancer. He was a wonderful man who dedicated over 35 years of his life to the ironworkers industry. Known for his strong work ethic, kindness, and unwavering love for his family, he was the foundation of our home.
Outside of work, his greatest joy was spending time outdoors, especially hunting. Those moments brought him peace and happiness, and they are memories our family will always treasure. Losing him has left a huge hole in our hearts, and we are doing everything we can to support one another through this grief.
Alongside the emotional pain, we are now facing serious financial hardship. The medical expenses from his illness have placed a heavy burden on our family’s savings. On top of that, we have recently been informed that the land we currently lease has been purchased by Metro. Our home will be torn down and the land converted into a national forest, and we must find a new place to live by the beginning of March.
With six people in our household, this sudden move has made an already difficult situation overwhelming. We are hoping to buy a new home so our family can have stability during this time, but most of our remaining funds are going toward medical bills, basic living expenses, and preparing for relocation.
We are humbly asking for any support you are able to give. Whether through a donation, sharing our story, or keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers, every bit of help truly means the world to us. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for your kindness and generosity during this incredibly difficult transition.
