In February 2022 we lost James or "Jake" as he was known by his close friends and family. Jake was a caring and loving individual who always offered help when it was needed and a warm smile to everyone no matter the circumstances. Since February 2022, Jakes life, love, and kindness towards others is survived through his family and friends and also through the "James A. Koshivos Memorial Scholarship Fund".

In memory of Jake, I am running the Horseneck Half Marathon on May 18th in Westport, MA alongside his sister Julia to honor how incredible Jake was as an individual, friend, and brother.

The JAK Memorial Scholarship Fund is awarded to high school seniors who attend Grafton High School or Saint John's High School in Shrewsbury, MA and who also embody the same passions and characteristics as Jake once did. Your generous donations will help honor these scholarships to help continue and pursue higher educations as well as honor and carry out Jake's passions how he would have seen it.
