I qualified for the Ironman 70.3 World Championships that will take place in Taupo, New Zealand, on December 14, 2024. This year, my plan was to race and achieve pro status. Unfortunately, in February, I broke my ankle and tore the ligaments in it, causing a significant loss of time towards training and racing. As I returned to training at the beginning of May, I noticed a mass in my breast and after many doctor's visits and testing, it was decided to remove the mass surgically. I had surgery at the end of June and returned to full training at the beginning of August. I now have 11 weeks (as of Sept. 23, 2024) to stay healthy, train consistently, and truly give this race everything I can.

Obviously, this year has been full of obstacles, but I am determined to persevere. As much turmoil as there has been, I believe there is a way to make this a positive and uplifting story. There is something empowering about chasing dreams and going broke, mentally and physically, while doing so. Which is why I am asking for help. I need financial help to achieve this goal.

I am beyond blessed that I've got the opportunity to participate in a World Championship at this level and I don't want to let that go. I don't know if I will ever get this chance again, so for the sake of not living with regret, I am trying this as my final effort to get support to chase this dream down. I will be forever grateful and appreciative of any and all help. Thank you.
