Hi everyone,

We’re The Hutchisons, close family friends of the incredible Helena. We’re organizing this fundraiser to support her during a truly challenging time.

Helena is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer—something no one should face alone. Recently, she received even more difficult news: she now has vocal cord nodules, possibly a side effect of her treatment. For someone whose voice is her livelihood and her gift to the world, this is a devastating setback.

If you know Helena, you know her voice isn’t just beautiful—it’s powerful, comforting, and healing. She has shared it generously over the years, lifting others through celebrations, sorrow, and everything in between. She has shared her gift weekly, uniting the congregations of St. Monica's and Hope Lutheran through song and prayer. Now, she's unable to sing and unable to work, which has made this time even more difficult financially and emotionally.

We’re hoping to raise enough to help cover Helena’s living expenses and medical needs over the next few months so she can focus fully on healing—both her body and her voice.
