Hello! We are the Ibabao’s! Back in 2022, we purchased our first home, and I became pregnant shortly thereafter. I had a really difficult pregnancy and was put on bed rest for the last two months of my pregnancy. I delivered early, hemorrhaged, and was on a blood transfusion for 24 hours. Due to the traumatic nature of the birth, I became disabled shortly thereafter. I’ve been diagnosed with POTS, celiac, and they’re trying to figure out what other autoimmune disorders are causing my other issues. All of that to say, I haven’t been able to work in a very long time. I try to DoorDash when I can, and my body will let me, and my husband donates plasma. Unfortunately, not long after my daughter was born in 2023, we wound up in foreclosure. We were able to stop it once, but they were unable to work with us, and it fell into foreclosure again in 2025. We found some people to do a short sale because that was one of the options; however, our original lending company would not consider any of the offers that were made. They made the people that were helping us stop helping us, and then they chose to auction the house anyway. It did not sell for what we paid for, and now we must file bankruptcy. It costs $3100 for us to file bankruptcy, and we are working towards it. We are just trying to get it done so that they don’t come after my husband’s wages or anything like that because we are already barely making it.
