Dear friends, family, and compassionate supporters,
We’re reaching out in a moment of deep need to ask for help for two very special people whose lives were forever changed in an instant.
Le Manh Au, my beloved mother, was recently involved in a terrible car accident where she was struck by a water truck going 80 km/h. She had to undergo major operations to have her spleen removed due to serious internal bleeding. This presents an everyday challenge as she will now be more susceptible to infections. She also sustained multiple fractured ribs, a broken femur, and several lacerations, which is going to require months on end of physical therapy and healing. She is facing a long and difficult road to recovery.
My mother cannot work right now, and the financial burden of bills, rehabilitation, and day-to-day living expenses is growing quickly.
My dear mother immigrated from Asia as part of the "boat people" refugees, where she faced numerous perils including storms, pirates, and starvation. Once settled in Canada, she worked tirelessly to sponsor her family members to Canada in search of a better life. As parents and pillars in their communities, they’ve both given so much to others throughout their lives. Now, they need our help.
We are humbly asking for your support—whether it’s a donation or a share of this page. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help ease their stress and allow them to focus on what truly matters: healing both physically and mentally.
Thank you for taking the time to read their story and for standing by her during this incredibly difficult time. With your help, we know she can recover and return to the life she loves and the people who love her.
With heartfelt gratitude,
On behalf of the Huynh Family
